About Us
The No Rebase Fishing Tournament is one of two annual events now scheduled to benefit the charities honoring the memories of Corine Turner and Linda Davis.  Corine and Linda were tragically killed on September 11, 2006 when a hit-and-run driver struck them while on their morning walk.
Following the accident the families formed the Friendship Memorial Scholarship Fund with all the donations received from friends and loved ones.  In May 07' the first ever recipient (Terry-Rae Dempsy) was awarded a $500 scholarship from this fund.  The fund currently has the capacity to continue this effort at this level for 20+ years, but it's only the beginning.
In the Fall of 07' the Inaugural Corine and Linda's Walk for Life www.walkforcorineandlinda.com was held with over $5,000 raised to fight diabetes.  All proceeds went directly to the San Lucy Diabetes Prevention program.
From Corine's passion to care for underprivileged children, the sick and elderly to her and Linda's drive to assist young students continue their education and develop her community, they did it all!  We are proud to continue in the footsteps of these two loving and charitable ladies.
Tournament funds raised will go directly to education (Arizona Adventure Education, www.arizonaadventureeducation.org) and scholarships.  All donations and fees are tax deductable.  Please remember to ask for a receipt.  Thank you and God bless.
